Help avoid water waste!

Did you know,

and it is the most-used ingredient in many products!

water waste

But creating a quick and effective product that really rinses out in seconds!

When developing our Hair Care solution, it was essential to limit our water waste by having it rinse quickly and using plant-based ingredients, and making sure that water is not the key ingredient.

This allows you to use less product on your hair, making your bottles last longer and helping with water waste.

When I grew up in Australia, with months, sometimes years, of no rain, I remember the government issuing every household an egg timer to restrict the water used.

Among many limitations, you were allowed only three minutes to shower.

That’s why I created a Hair Care line that reduces water waste by rinsing out in seconds.” - Jill Turnbull, Founder.

Why do cosmetics say aqua?

I thought you would find this an interesting fact,  when you see "water\aqua\eau" on a product's ingredient label, it means water.

Manufacturers of cosmetics and personal care products are required by law to list all ingredients in the formula using their INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) names.

It is extremely important to read the labels of your beauty products and evaluate the ingredients. Typically water is the first ingredient, and on average, beauty products may contain anywhere from 60% to 85% water, depending on the product category.

An abundance of water dilutes the concentration of the other ingredients.
